Idiopathic: As the name implies, idiopathic intracranial hypertension often has no identifiable cause. Treatment is still imperative to resolve symptoms & protect the brain and vital structures.

I developed a sudden large bump on the temple, no injury, had an MRI/ CT scan of the brain. Neurologist/ENT baffled/ 4 teeth to be pulled, abscesses.
My ENT ordered a MRI because I have constant head pressure and dizziness. The results indicated possible IIH. Am wondering how serious this is and if their are any signs that warrant an ER visit that I should look out for while I wait to see a neuro.
