I was in a head on collision. diagnosed mtbi. mri detected lesion in the brain. should i worry? and did the injury cause this. i am waiting to see. neurologist. sadly in canada takes 6 months.

Difficult Question: It certainly could have, but the term "lesion" can mean many different things. If you are feeling fine now, I wouldn't worry. Just make a list of things you'd like to ask your neurologist. Hope this helps!

"Lesion": is a nonspecific term meaning an abnormality. It doesn't imply anything about the cause of the abnormality, or what kind of abnormality it is. It could be a completely innocuous, incidental finding, or it could be more serious. So more specific information is needed about the lesion to make a comment on it. Talk to your doc about the results.
