A member asked:

What's ideal blood pressure(0 risk of getting cerebral aneurysm, even small one 1 to 2 mm) for prevention of cerebral aneurysm in 59 year old male?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing special.: There is no special BP goal even for those with known aneurysms and there is certainly no evidence to suggest that controlling BP without an aneurysm prevents them. Meet the national goal of 140/90 or less and you are covered. Major risk factors for cerebral aneurysm are heredity, tobacco use and coarctation of the aorta.
