No, life long pills: Your TSH is normal only because you are taking the pill. If you stop you will be hypothyroid with attendant health consequences. You need to take the medication for the rest of your life.

Hypothyroidism: It depends on the cause of your hypothyroidism. Usually it is Hashimoto's which usually leads to life long hypothyroidism and life long medication. Do you have anti-thyroid antibodies? Please ask your primary physician or ask for a referral to an Endocrine specialist to find out the type and prognosis.
