Not recommended: No one knows exactly the cause of the gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). However, research has shown the results remain diverse and contradictory. Some study showed no significant associations between beer consumption and reflux symptoms. Another found that drinking beer decrease in reflux symptoms. The consensus is limit or avoid consumption.

Remember: That it's felt that alcohol, including that of beer, can precipitate reflux. So I would avoid it if possible otherwise be judicious about your intake.
