Yes there are: Often, anti-depressants are used for anxiety issues in addition to depression. However, another class of drugs called 'benzodiazepines' is frequently used for anxiety. These include drugs like Klonopin, Xanax, (alprazolam) Ativan, Valium. They seem to work well for many patients. However, they are addictive. Ask your doctor or a psychiatrist what would be best for your particular situation.
