Cavernomas: Another name is cavernous hemangiomas. They are abnormal vascular lesions with small compartments containing blood products. Birth defect likely: Most often cavernous hemangioma or cavernomas are a tangle of blood vessels. They have a tendency to bleed. That is why the report said chronic. The bleeding can become a problem. I wonder if you are under the care of a specialist in that area. If not you might think about it
