No fast way: Unfortunately, there is no short cut to weight loss. People who lost weight quickly often gain the the weight back eventually. Typically, losing 1 to 2 pounds a week is a good rate. To lose one pound, 3500 calories would need to be eliminated, either from controlling food intake or exercise. Please consult a dietician for the proper and healthy eating habits.

No shortcuts: Diet, fiber, high and low bursrt interval aerobics, multivitiamin, 8-10 glasses of fluid/day 6-8 very small meals/day. I tell my patients to get a picture of themselves at a thinner wight and paste it to their dressing room mirroe: positive mental imaging.

Commit + stick: Think "straightforward and sustainable." While there are effective fast diets, if they are too different from a healthy daily diet it will be too easy to gain it all back and then some when the diet ends. Tried and true Weight Watchers has a great men's program and is easy if you are ready to commit and stick with it. Take a deep breath, clean out the fridge and pantry of junk food and go for it!

Effective not fast: Most effective way to lose weight is simply cut calories. Don't believe ads trying to sell shortcuts. Doesn't exist. At your weight, body is burning over 2000 calories a day even if you never move a muscle. Just cut calories to 1200-1500 per day &body will be forced to burn fat to make up difference. If you do it every day, you'll lose about 1kg per week. Excercise can help but diet is key.
