Yes, better: Magnetic resonance imaging is better for soft tissue tumor compared to Computed tomography. evaluation. However, depending on the etiology of lymphoma, presence of contraindications for MRI, such as pacemaker, metallic dyes in tattoos, metallic implants, CT scan maybe the only option as diagnostic imaging of choice.

Generally, yes: Hi. Abdominal MRI is still not as commonly used as abdominal CT, but in experienced hands, it's an excellent study, and very good at "seeing" abnormal lymph nodes, and can actually be superior to a CT.

Depends: MRI is generally not used as the primary imaging modality, except for few specific indications such as in staging mediastinal malignancies, where MRI can be more accurate than a CT.
