Some do not: Internal hemorrhoids may cause painless rectal bleed. With this being said the differential diagnosis includes much more than that. Would suggest seeing primary care physician versus urgent care visit if not sick otherwise.

Not True: Hemorrhoids do not always hurt. Hemorrhoids can cause painless bleeding. Hemorrhoids can be internal, external, or both. There are many reasons for rectal bleeding besides hemorrhoids. See your doctor to get examined.
