Wax impaction: You may have wax or sticky fluid in the canal. If you are comfortable, an over the counter wax removal system may be helpful. If not, a visit to your physician or ENT may be suggested. If you are experiencing pain or other symptoms of infection, definitely visit your physician. Good luck.

Ear clogging: Follow up with an ENT doctor. Do you have sinusitis, allergies? reflux?. Ever had tubes in your ears, large tonsils? These conditions when lying down would cause drainage/blockage and clog the ear. Would elevate head of bed , if allergies, try Zyrtec, (cetirizine) if sinusitis consider zyrtec (cetirizine) and an antibiotic, If reflux consider omeprazole. Good luck
