A member asked:

Why is my eye getting irritated that white stuff is coming out of it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eye discharge: Eye discharge with irritation can be a sign of infection, foreign body, allergies or a few other things. If you have pain, blurred vision, severe irritation, greenish/yellowish discharge, or fever those are signs to see a PCP immediately. A greenish discharge is more often seen with a bacterial infection while a white discharge more often has a white discharge however this is not always the case.
