Bells Palsy: Bells palsy is only a diagnosis of exclusion, not a primary diagnosis especially if its the first time happening. 3 days is still early enough to begin treatment if other pathologies are sufficiently excluded to make idiopathic facial Nerve inflammation and compression the likely diagnosis. The starting Prednisone dose should be at least 60 mg for 3 days followed by taper to be effective. See ENT.
