N. VII Rx: Bell's palsy is secondary to herpes simplex, and use of antivirals early may help. Prednisolone or other steroids seem to enhance recovery. About 92.5% of all cases spontaneously recover after a few weeks. Need to patch eye to avoid corneal abrasions. Severe recalcitrant cases may benefit from hypoglossal nerve implant.

Bell's Palsey: Requires medical supervision, not gadgets or OTC's . It is a neurologic problem, so please, as soon as possible, see a specialist Neurologist.
