A member asked:

I was in the er and diagnosed with bell's palsy. the doctor told me don't believe anything i read...nothing helps it to go away. is there anything?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps: Bells palsy is an inflammation of the facial nerve. It is usually due to a virus and recovers without treatment. Recovery may be faster with short course steroids. If associated with herpes, Acyclovir may help.
