What questions to ask a dentist about dentures?

Almost anything you can think of.: How much will it hurt. How much will it cost. How long will it take. Will I be able to eat normally again. How do I keep the denture clean. Those are just a few things that pop into my head

Dentures: Do you do dentures? Can I get immediate dentures? Do you offer implant supported lower dentures? What is your experience with dentures? How many dentures have you done in the last year? If you dentist doesn't seem comfortable make you a denture, ask your dentist to refer you to a prosthodontist. Prosthodontists are specialists with extra training in making dentures.

Lots of Questions: Dentures are the worst of all tooth replacement options, since they have nothing to hold on to and always move around, no matter how well they're made. However, they can look great and cost less than other options. Main questions are: cost, how many visits, will I be able to eat with them, what are my restrictions, how long will they last, how do I care for them, and what other choices do I have?
