Of course you can: You will need to see someone to get that 2nd opinion. They will need to see your teeth and your x-rays to make that determination. I would recommend you see a prosthodontist in your area--he or she is a specialist in complex restorative dentistry and if you do really need a denture a prosthodontist would be the best person to make it. Prosthodontics is one of the 9 specialties in dentistry.
