i have an anxiety disorder. i am taking valium everyday. by taking it everyday is it reducing the chance of it working when i have an actually attack?

Some people do: develop tolerance with benzodiazapines like valium. I would really encourage you to discuss other medications with your physician/ psychiatrist - such as SSRI's. Also - look to non-pharmaceutical options.
