Other causes: While diabetes is a common cause of neuropathy there are other reasons for the symptoms of neuropathy. You need to see a neurologist.

There are many cause: Of neuropathy. Sometimes, afterall tests, clinical history and exam doctors still don't know the answer this is known as "idiopathic neuropathy". (Maybe, us doctors are just idiots and can't figure it out yet).

Neurologist: there are many causes of neuropathy. Diabetes is just the most common. You should get a full work up by a neurologist to see if a cause can be determined
