Keep taking if you: if you are able. Metronidazole does make some folk feel nauseous, if you stop the treatment you may not be fully cured. If you can't finish it, ask your doctor if you can switch to a vaginal gel "Metro-Gel" form. NEVER drink alcohol with metronidazole.

Finish it: This is a common side effect as well as an after taste. Take it with food, chocolate or peanut butter help with the metallic after-taste (watch calories though). The good news is that the treatment is short term. Complete it to ensure resolution. With BV is important to prevent recurrence: no douching and taking pro-biotics like greek yogurt may help. If unbearable call your doctor
