May be nothing or?: Your clinical history- the reason you had the MRI- may be a clue. Many brains show one small area of flair signal. These are often due to headaches, head injuries, high blood pressure, changes in blood flow, etc. They are not by themselves an indicator of much. If you had many of these, and symptoms of MS, they could be related. A single small area though is not alarming.
