Very much so: If you already notice during the day you have significant sinus symptoms of congestion, difficult with nasal breathing, post nasal drip. When you sleep your post nasal drip may "pool" significantly in the back of the throat so that when you arise in the AM it stimulates your gag reflex. Also significant sinus disease can alter sleep quality related to breathing disturbances.
