Try OTC allery meds: This sounds like allery. If the drip is clear, you can try otc allergy medication, such as claritin, (loratadine) zyrtec. If the drip persist, you need to see a doctor to get complete exam.

Saline: Regular saline rinses have been reported to be somewhat effective but be sure that the water has been boiled then cooled unless you has a source of sterile water. However otc antihistamines often work better and prescription nasal sprays better still. Air conditioning usually helps to reduce the amount of airborne allergens if you do not mind the electric bill. Allergy shots can work wonders.

Post nasal drip: You should use a saline nasal spray to alleviate your drip but ultimately need to see an allergist, find the cause of your symptoms and remedy it properly.

Neti Pot: Agree w the recommendations that you have already been given. Neti pots can reduce nasal congestion. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot. Tilt head & pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly & spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed & again in the am.
