I am technically obese (5"8',215 lbs, 32% boy fat), would i benefit from a weight loss clinic? how likely would it be for me to get a prescription for a diet drug?

Weight loss clinic: Hi. Your BMI is 32.6, and that definitely qualifies for weight loss behavior modification and consideration of weight loss drug therapy. There are some very reputable weight loss clinics around, so it may be very helpful. A first premise in all cases is healthy lifestyle with healthy diet, regular exercise, no smoking, and treat any comorbid conditions (diabetes, etc). Weight loss drugs help many.

Yes: I would recommend that you find a physician who practices bariatric (weight loss) medicine. They will come up with a diet, exercise and medication plan to suit your needs. Check out www.asbp.org.
