See a doc!: Hopefully you've seen a doctor since you're on antibiotics. But does your doctor know you have a history of a pulmonary embolus? Chest pain that's worse when breathing in can be caused by an infection, PE, or muscle pain. As you know, it's very important to treat a PE right away, as it can be life threatening. Get a good history and physical exam and make your history known! Best to you!
