Depends: Katherine, It depends on the cause of the bowed legs. Some genetic conditions which cause bowed legs, can affect height. Many times however bowed legs are present at certain stages of growth and may correct with growth. It also depends on the age of the patient. If bowing of the legs is present, evaluation by an doctor is important.
