Bowed legs can be genetic or developmental.... Older patients with arthritis will also develop bowed legs. The treatment depends on the cause and severity. As a young person, bowed legs will predispose you to develop arthritis at a young age.

At 32 the answer is likely yes. There are some conditions that can be present at birth and some that are aquired and progress. An orthopaedic exam will tell for sure.
