Varus knee: There are two treatment options and they are based on the amount of arthritis you have. If you have congenital genu varum, with minimal or no arthritis, they can do a medial opening wedge osteotomy (cut the bone) and correct you deformity. If is an acquired genu varum from arthritis, you either need a unicompartmental knee arthroplasty or total knee arthroplasty.
