Do you shave there?: Sorry to ask such a personal question, but women who shave their armpits often get a folliculitis from the razor which can be red and itchy. It could also be a reaction to any antiperspirant or deodorant that is used under the arms. Less likely causes are yeast infections if you have a lot of perspiration in the armpits. I would see your MD to get a definitive diagnosis!
