Depends on BP: If your BP is well controlled after starting treatment I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to apply for jobs as long as you disclose that you are taking BP medication! You cannot start BP meds and stop once the BP is normal, it is a long term medication, however if you are under a doctor's care, follow low salt diet and exercise, it is possible to wean off BP meds under supervision.

It depends on the employer.: Normally if your blood pressure is well controlled the employer is okay. If you were doing something offshore such as an oil rig which is a very dangerous location they might not accept you at all just because of the increased risk.
