High Blood pressure: I have a number of patients whose blood pressure is just fine except when they come to the office. Anxiety can certainly elevate blood pressure. Try to get multiple blood pressure checks. Get your own machine take it to your doctors office to validate your results with the doctors. When I do that if the two blood pressures are about the same i will base my decision on the results they get at home.
