Sinus: They key is improvement and discomfort in face. The problem is likely related to sinus blockage. Headache associated with fever would be worrisome. Sharp pains radiating to the top of the head or both temples can be due to Middle Meatus Syndrome and might require ENT surgery to open the Osteomeatal complex (blocked opening to sinuses by bone spur and swollen mucosa )
