A member asked:

Now that i have had thyroid cancer, am i more at risk of getting other cancers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, you're not: Hi. Assuming you had papillary or follicular thyroid cancer, the answer is no. If you had a medullary thyroid cancer (much, much rarer), then maybe, but even then, a separate cancer is pretty unlikely. Without knowing your details, at face value, your odds are good. May your Thyrogen-stimulated thyroglobulin be ever undetectable!
