It's fine: Some babies just aren't interested in them. Lucky you, you won't have to go through the hassle of taking them away when he is older.

Hard to retain: A 3 mo kid enjoy a pacifier as much as any other.What they don't have is the ability to reach up and push it back in or hold it in until they are older.For some it is easy to retain because they sort it out early, others not. Just because it came out doesn't mean they planned it.His fingers are easier to catch, as they stay close and don't get lost.
