Relaxin: You may have thought I have a typo above, but I really do mean RELAXIN. This is a hormone that is produced during pregnancy to allow your ligaments and tendons to be looser so your pelvis can "open up" and be able too deliver a baby. The hormone does not just affect your pelvis, tough. It affects all your joints, and is likely why you are noticing the changes you describe. Do stretching exercises!

How old is your son?: Females normally have increased joint laxity, do to hormones. If you have recently deleivered your son----you have an increased amount of thes hormone. If you were very agile when you were younger--ie cheer leading/gymnastic you normally have increased joint laxity----as you age you typically have more joint symptoms---

Joints.: It appears to be nothing. However, if it is bothering you, I recommend that you contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Cranky is unfamiliar: I don't know what you mean by cranky, and maybe there isn't any way to write what you really mean in the text space provided. How long ago did you have your son? Are you still breast feeding? Maybe the hormones are playing a role. If there is no pain or swelling I wouldn't worry about this.
