We need more info: How old is your child? Are we talking about colic here? Or is he older and there is something else going on? Ear infection, injury, some other illness?

Find out why: How old is your son? Is this an infant, a toddler, what age group are we talking about? Also, what does non-stop mean? Infants with colic may cry for up to 3 hrs a day at least 3 days a week and that can be normal. If this seems abnormal to you I would suggest seeing the pediatrician to try to figure out potential causes of this non-stop crying before starting any OTC meds

Crying: Your son may be cutting molars which is causing his pain. Have him chew on a frozen bagel half. Another cause may be constipation, in which case he needs more fiber in his diet. I would also cut down on the milk and milk products

Crying child: Depending on the age of the child, consider: speaking with your pediatrician about a daily routine; be sure child is getting enough sleep (at least 9 hrs); cut out sugars (juice, etc); decrease carbs significantly (try veggies with pesto/dip if no allergies; Kirkland seaweed nouri); consider going gluten free for a couple of weeks (see if works: very low risk); remove electronics, tv, etc for 3 wk
