Fever at night: If this fever just started then it is a normal response of the immune system, most likely to a viral illness. I have always noted that in children symptoms of fever, wheezing, etc. are always worse at night. Our own normal body temperatures fluctuate and are higher at night. Fevers in infections help fight the infection, treat for discomfort. If it lasts more that 3 days, see your doctor.
