A member asked:

Our 2 year old toddler has been vomiting about 3 times this afternoon and has a fever of 37.9c we've given her a suppository for nausea and fever. at which temperature should we consider going to hospital?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The basics: You need a hospital when they offer treatments you can't do at home. The cited temperature is not impressive, nor is fever that important. If the kid is taking in enough fluids to pee every 8 hrs or more, is active & responsive, you can monitor this at home. If he spooks you, becomes lethargic, fails to take fluids, go in.
