Possibly: While the gestational sac is typically see by 4.5-5 weeks it is not an absolute. Dates can be off, etc.. and a repeat US in 1 week is warrented to give the gestational sac time to appear.

Maybe: This is very early in your pregnancy and you dates could be off by a little. You could still see a baby next week. Don't give up hope yet!
