Teen health care: In California, teens can be seen without parent present to discuss sexual issues, drugs and feelings, all of which will be kept confidential if patient wants it to be not shared. The exception, of coarse, is if it involved danger to you, the patient or others directly involved. There are some issues a teen feels more comfortable discussing without a parent in the room.
