Please see a doctor!: There are many things that can affect the memory. Stress, Medical conditions, medications etc and Depression is known to affect mental status and other neurological abilities. It sounds like you need to see a doctor immediately if you are having thoughts of harming yourself. Please go to the nearest ER if possible for an urgent evaluation.
