Plants: have irritants plus dirt on them I would use a warm compress and if it remains swollen see your doctor as you may need antibiotics if itchy take an OTC antihistamine

Treat conservatively: as suggested but if signs worsen then go to your physician in the event that the skin becomes infected and a cellulitis develops. Low probability but possible.
