Depends on you: every patient is different and will respond better to certain medications while others may not respond well to a particular drug. Best to talk to your own doctor about medicine for anxiety/depression but other drugs such as wellbutrin or Effexor (venlafaxine) might also be useful for you. Of course exercise and good counseling are equally if not more important than any drug. good luck!

It is best to discuss your medication with your Psychiatrist who knows your medical history. If you are not confident in your Doctor please see another for a second opinion. Meds tend to work more effectively when you also have psychotherapy. Please see a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy.
