A stye?: you may have a stye of your eyelid which is a small abscess/infection which is swollen, often red or pink and painful or makes you feel irritation. You should try a warm water soak or compress applied to the eyelid 3-4 times per day for 10-15 minutes and if you wear contacts do not use them for a few days. IF it gets worse or does not go away see your doctor for treatment
