Miscarriage: Yes, the bleeding will stop. If you continue to have heavy bleeding and cramping, see your OB/GYN as you may have retained fetal material and may need your uterus scraped - this is known as a D&C.

Usually: Once the sac passes you should see a decrease in bleeding Sometimes there are other part of the pregnancy still there so if increased cramping or increased bleeding then follow up Also you need to follow up to make sure you did not hav a twin and only one sac passed
