Can't tell: Although HIV is likely low on the list of probability it can't be totally ruled out. It is just prudent to check with your doctor re. these problems. In the meanwhile, practice safe sex so that you'll not be so anxious in the future worrying over STD.

HIV: Without being able to examine you there is no way in which to tell. If the first HIV antibody test was done more than 14 days after exposure it is unlikely that you will become positive, but because of the occasional patient who has a delay in formation of antibodies you should continue follow-up tests. Or if you want to spend $ you can get a PCR for HIV RNA. Suspect you will be fine.

Could be: If you are HIV negative on testing, then unlikely. Many different viruses and bacteria can cause those symptoms, and you don't have to have HIV.
