Yes: Meningitis is inflammation of the meninges - the outer covering of the brain.If your only symptom is morning neck pain then it's incredibly unlikely to be meningitis.I would suggest looking at how you sleep..is your pillow in need of replacing?Do you read,watch TV,text etc while laying in bed?Is the neck stiffness due to strain due to stress etc?If it persists consult your doc for further veal
