No : That is not a good idea . Too Many accidents have happened and can happen that way . Put your baby in her/his crib/bed after falling asleep . Adults can roll over small children leading to asphyxia , dropped them and more. All are of course accidents but can be prevented . I doubt you can stay awake all night with your child sleeping on your arms !!

Love them to death: The kid should sleep alone with initial swaddling for up to a month.Afterwards,placement in a onzie without blankets,pillows or bumpers is needed to prevent suffocation if they tangle up in bedding.Holding the baby all night is dangerous and could lead to suffocation or other injury.If the infant survived, it would face a 400% higher rate of sleep disorder for the first 4 years.
