Cataract S: intraop: Talk to your eyemD if you will need cataract surgery for other eye. Depending on pain threshold (history of pain med use, etc), sometimes stronger medicines and even general anesthesia is needed to prevent pain, patient movement. Sometimes a patient & MD will not know what to expect till the surgery; but this experience can prepare you for future procedures.
