Stop it & ...: Just stop taking Norco and try taking other kind of pain medications. This would be better than adding Ativan, which may further compound the wanted side effects from drugs. In fact, in 2 days, most of surgical pain should evolve and fade to a bearable level for which pain killers like Tylenol (acetaminophen) should suffice to ease the pain. So, contact your surgeon for replacing it with others.
